Bubble wrap art

Remember that huge canvas I bought at a yard sale a while back?  I didn't think so.

Well, I've been in a bit of a funk lately and I haven't done anything crafty for months, so I thought I'd look for some pinspiration (I hate that word actually) to help me snap out of it.

I came across this idea that I'd pinned a while back.  Here is the progression.

The verdict?  Crafting did make me feel better!  And I like how it turned out, though I don't think it's finished yet.  The bubble art is just a back drop for something else.  Maybe a silhouette.  What say you?

I like it! I don't know if it needs a silhouette...I kind of like it the way it is. It's abstract and modern, a silhouette is only going to date it (they're going to be totally dated in a few years - not that I haven't done my fair share). Anyway, that's just my silly opinion, do what you think is best. Good job! :)

I say yay, Randi!

Also, I think I'm with Deb on this one. It makes me think of the ocean the way it is, so I'd leave it.

Sorry about the funk part. Bleh.

I am the worlds worst crafty person. I am super non-creative which means that I have no suggestions to offer. However, I will just bask in your greatness. It looks really cool.

Randi, I didn't realize you were an artist. This looks great! Thanks for posting some pictures. I miss you all - really hope you can make it to Capistrano this summer!
