When anywhere you go outside you have to look like a weirdo walking with your arms and hands swinging out in front of you for protection in case you run into one of these!
They like to hang out across stairway railings and in trees that dangle above sidewalks. This one I found across our doorway right where your head would be if you walked outside. And it's not just one or two. They are everywhere, in all different sizes, shapes and colors! Yuck.
Oh, and watch your step.

i always say the good thing about SLC is that there aren't a lot of creepy crawly things here. But maybe I just don't notice them the way you don't notice familiar stuff.
