So, since he had to ask, I guess Alec doesn't just assume that I shower everyday.

That is perfectly ok. Thane has asked me before "do you want to shower before we go?" I reply "I already showered". That goes to show you that sometimes when you are home with a little kid all day it just doesn't matter.
joe always asks me that. on a good week i shower every other day. and not even because i feel like a super busy mom. i think i am just lazy.
If not showering is cool, consider me Miles Davis!
